Global offer for the brown, violet and grey test stamps. Special offer at a low price.Caravel test stamp. In 1932, some print tests of the caravel stamps were made before the real print run was started. The test stamps are without hatching in the main sail. The AFA catalogue value is EUR 335. In 1933, the Danish post bought a rotation print press for producing engraved stamps. The stamps are printed on pre-gummed paper without watermark and in the print press there is a perforator which can perforate a total sheet in one go. This is called sheet perforation. The definities with waved lines and caravel were maintaine but in order to print engraved stamps it was necessary to modify the drawings
